Generally when it comes to champagne I am a purest, I don’t like to mix! There are only two occasions when I add a lil sumthin sumthin in my drink. #1 Brunch. I mean it’s not really brunch without a mimosa, right? #2 Girls Night Out. It is a must to have a fabulous French 75 when listening to Beyonce and Jasmine Sullivan.

When I think of a French 75 it brings me to my mommas roots in Louisiana. It's such a southern belle drink and I just like the way I feel when I drink it. It’s my bougie courage juice. There are debates on the spirit it should be mixed with, but I always go for grey goose vodka. Me and gin have never really gotten along. Not a fan, but if you are swap the vodka for gin. I’ve been told it works too! Below you will find a quick and easy French 75 recipe. Thank me later!

Classic French 75 Recipe

  • 2 ounces - Grey Goose Vodka
  • 2 Ounces - Fresh squeeze lemon juice
  • 6 ounces - Moét & Chandon Brut Champagne
